This lens belongs arguably to the best Leica M-lenses ever made. It is of deceptively simple construction of 5 elements in five groups. One surface has an aspherical shape. In addition to the aspherical surface, the Summicron has apochromatic correction, which enhances the clarity and crispness of very fine textural details and also of the edge sharpness of subject outlines.
The lens is in a good working condition.
It shows some signs of usage.
